Pablo Rubio, the Chief Design Officer of Erretres, and Masaaki Hasegawa, Business Advisor, recently returned to Japan, this time to give the conference “Japanese Technology Meets Spanish Design” at the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo. During the talk, Pablo and Masaaki stressed the power that design has to lend value to this country’s excellent products and technology. In comparision with other markets like North America, where a more integral brand vision is the norm, Japanese companies need the boost that branding can provide in terms of a strategic process to relate to both audiences and brands’ corporate values.

They also used the opportunity to present the rebranding project that Erretres carried out for the Japanese underwear brand Sido Japan:
